Nalam Academy is a non-profitable educational institution under Nalam Trust. It was started in the year of 2007, with a team of dedicated and experienced teachers and administrators.

The academy is housed in a green environment providing a serene and tranquil atmosphere for students to excel in their studies. The classrooms are spacious and airy with the following features:

Courses
Nalam Academy is recognized and approved by TAMIL NADU SKILL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (TNSDC) to conduct various courses under the Healthcare sector since 2017. TNSDC is the State Nodal Agency for Skill Development by the government of Tamilnadu and is functioning as a Corporation under the Ministry of Labour and Employment Department.
Nalam Academy is authorized to conduct the following technical courses under Healthcare sector.
- General Duty Assistant (GDA)
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Operating Theatre Technician (OT)
- Diet Assistant
The courses are delivered by experienced and well-qualified faculty. Faculty members hold relevant Masters or Bachelor’s degrees and/or have 3+ years of experience in the healthcare sector.
Students undergo trainings in various departments such as - Outpatient department, Surgery department, Obstetrics department, Operation Theatre, Medical Laboratory, X-ray department, Physiotherapy, Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD), Pharmacy, Dietetics & Counselling, Medical Records department.
Students also have numerous extra-curricular events to showcase their varied talents!
